The CDC offers a free, comprehensive course on Recognizing, Preventing and Treating Heat-Related Illness. This course is approved by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We recommend this course be taken by all of our AYSO Coaches.
In this training, you will learn about the different types of heat-related illnesses (HRI). You will also learn to recognize, treat, and prevent HRI.
